Bechem United

Bechem United Football Club (Officially: Bechem United Football Club) is a Ghanaian professional football club, based in Bechem, Brong-Ahafo. In September 2011, Bechem United were crowned champions of the Poly Tank Division One League Zone 1 and promoted to the 2011–12 season of the Glo Premier League.Bechem United has a long history of rivalry with Brong Ahafo (BA) Stars and Berekum Chelsea.In 2007, the youth team of Bechem United took part in the Trofeo Karol Wojtyla, a youth tournament in the Italian Commune of Fiumicino, Province of Rome, Lazio region.Bechem United Football Club is a premier division club and a fully fledged member of the Ghana Football Association. The club until recently an unknown entity in Ghana Football has been in existence since 1966.

The club until recently an unknown entity in Ghana Football has been in existence since 1966. Bechem, a town along the Kumasi – Sunyani – Road is the home to Bechem United Football Club. The town belongs to the Ahafo divide of the Brong Ahafo region. The folks are predominantly farmers but have a great passion for football as it remains the number one leisure activity.

 Bechem United is the only premier division club in the whole Ahafo. Founded from the merger of two rival teams, Sailors and Vipers, the club though modest has produced some great stars that featured for Kumasi Asante Kotoko. Prominent among them are Moro Gariba and Nana Koffi.
